Johannes Brahms
Born in May 1833 and Died in 1897. He is known for being one of the Three B’s, along with Bach and Beethoven. Being a perfectionist, Brahms’ music contains the finest musical devices and structure. Any striving pianist much learn the piano music that was written by Johannes Brahms.
Note: With Brahms, editors do not face many difficulties with editing Brahms’ music. Brahms was very cautious with making sure his first editions were accurate and impeccable (unlike, for example, Schubert who would have numerous errors in his first edition scores), so even the scores on IMSLP are fine. The only typo I have found in Brahms’ music comes from the older Henle edition edited by Monica Steegman.

Note: be careful of the Henle edition edited by Monica Steegmann
with fingering by Walter Georgii. There are some typos in this score.
In the Second System, second bar, fourth beat, there should be a bass clef written for the right hand part. However, the treble clef marking is there, which creates confusion for Measures 53-54 of the second rhapsody.
